Halophore Awarded Seed Grant from NIH

We are proud to announce that Halophore’s most recent Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) application, “High-Performance Solid State Dye Lasers For Wound Care and Cosmetic Treatments” has officially been funded by the National Institutes of Health. The grant will fund research activities at our lab until late 2021 on the development of our laser technology based upon fluorescent SMILES materials. The SBIR grant was reviewed and approved by the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering.
